WipEout Fusion is a racing game set in the year 2160 and revolves around players competing in the F9000 anti-gravity racing league. Players control anti-gravity ships owned by large racing corporations (collectively referred to as "teams"). In total, the game has 45 racing tracks, 32 ship models and 26 types of weapons. There are 8 teams, each with a lead driver and co-pilot — players can choose which driver and team they want to use before the race.
