Sims: Vacation — the add-on introduces a resort location — Vacation Island, where Sims can spend their vacation alone or with their family. The resort is divided into three levels — a sandy beach by the sea, where Sims can stay at a hotel, sit by the pool, ride a water slide, have fun at arcade machines, build sand castles and play volleyball. The middle strip of the resort is a forest, where Sims can live in a tent camp, in nature, sit and grill by the fire, set up an archery range and fish. The upper strip is covered with snow, where Sims can live in an igloo, make snowmen, snowboard on an artificial slope, and also ski from a snow slide. The player can rebuild the sites at his own discretion.
