SimCity 4 — As in previous games in the SimCity series, the player plays the role of a mayor (or several mayors), tasked with the settlement and development of cities, appearing in a regional view as individual sections or areas of the region. The player can choose any site to develop a city on. These sections in real measurement have the shortest length of 1 km, and the longest — 4 km. The size of the region and its location can be changed in the raster file specified for each region.
