Silent Hunter 2 — the player becomes a member of the crew of a German submarine from the Second Battle of the Atlantic. The game has single-player and multiplayer missions. In addition to some individual single-player missions, the player can take part in such famous moments as the U-47 infiltration of Scapa Flow, the passage through the Strait of Gibraltar and Operation Drumbeat. German World War II veteran and submarine commander Erich Topp was one of the game's technical consultants.
