Silent Hill: Downpour

Silent Hill: Downpour — mystical third-person horror game with puzzle and action elements. You play as Murphy Pendleton, an escaped criminal. While Murphy explores the city on foot, he is able to use abandoned subway tunnels as shortcuts to various parts of the city. At times, Murphy will need to directly interact with the environment to progress, such as lowering fire escapes with grappling hooks or destroying boarded-up doors. Some of his backstory can be gleaned from in-game notes and flashbacks; secret messages can be revealed using a UV flashlight, while clues and maps are kept in a journal for easy access. The player can also shape Murphy's character through several moral choices presented throughout the game, allowing him to either act on or forego the opportunity to save non-player characters.
