Halo: Combat Evolved is a cult adventure shooter with a first-person view in a sci-fi setting, the plot of which tells about the war between humans and alien invaders — the Covenant. People are losing the war with an alliance of alien races and, having gathered their last strength, they created a detachment of warriors with special abilities called SPARTAN-II. The Spartans became the most effective means of destroying the planet's enemies, but all Spartan forces were destroyed at the planet Reach. One soldier survived, Master Chief John-117, who is destined to fight the invaders for a certain mysterious artifact.

Только вчера впервые прошел Halo и, не смотря на минусы, мне она понравилась. Для 2017-го года очень даже сносно.
По сути, это обычный экшен шутер от первого лица, но с неплохой историей и кучей событий. Все начинается с пробуждения единственного из выживших суперсолдат — Мастера Чифа, и нападения враждебной расы — Ковенантов на космический корабль людей. Враг сильнее и опаснее, поэтому на Мастера Чифа (то есть нас) возлагаться миссия спасти ИИ под именем Кортана, которая обладает важными данными о человечестве. Дальше будет крушение в необычном месте, спасение людей, бои с пришельцами и технологии древней расы.
