And where the original was DOS-based, the new version is native to Windows 95 (and optimized for MMX-based machines).

I played Comanche Gold in the late 90's, and I thoroughly enjoyed the SIM. In those days it was very realistic, hence my 10 star rating. It was great to let yourself get drawn into all the functions and scenarios of the SIM and fly that battle machine. I highly recommend the SIM to anyone with a good joystick.
