Alan Wake: The Writer is a third-person action game with a dash of horror from the developers at Remedy Entertainment. The main publisher of the game is Microsoft Game Studios. Alan Wake: The Writer is also known as Alan Wake: El escritor and Alan Wake: Der Schriftsteller. But Alan Wake: The Writer has not yet been released on PC. But it is likely that the game will be released on this platform in the future. Overall, the project turned out to be rather weak. Most reviewers gave the game very low ratings.

Заключительная глава про писателя Алана Уэйка и про его борьбу с Тёмной Сущностью. В DLC реализовано пару новых механик которых не было в оригинальной игре. Качественно проработанный сюжет и напряженная атмосфера являются неоспоримыми плюсами этой игры.
Второе DLC к игре Alan Wake, в котором разработчики решили сделать ставку на сюжет, в отличие от первого дополнения. Не смотря на не очень большую продолжительность, оно умудряется уместить в себе довольно много событий и поэтому не надоедает до самого конца. Единственный его минус — это открытая концовка, намекающая на продолжение, которого может и не выйти.
