Easy Riders is the second main quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, serving as an important tutorial stage. While its primary goal is to introduce players to the game's mechanics, many may encounter questions or difficulties while completing it. To help you tackle this quest without unnecessary hassle, we have prepared a detailed guide.
The quest begins with a journey of Lord Ptacek and his retinue. Along the way, you encounter Berghof's fighters led by a captain from Trosky. At this moment, you have the opportunity to choose your hero's basic characteristics:
The next response will increase one of the following skills:
Approach the lord and talk to him. He will refuse to communicate and will first ask you to calm your dog. To do this, call the dog to you using the X key. The dog will settle down, but other additional tasks will appear.
Speak to the man the dog was barking at. It was not without reason, as he has food. You can try to use one of the skills for persuasion, but we couldn't get the sausage the easy way.
If you also didn't succeed, you'll have to try your luck in a dice game with Zhban to retrieve Vovesha's ring. The rules of the game are quite simple: you need to score 1500 points faster than your opponent.
Even if you lose, you can take a rematch until you win. Once you get the ring, return it to the owner and take the sausage. You can feed the dog by holding LAlt and selecting the first option. The inventory menu will open — click on the sausage twice and confirm your choice.
Return to the lord and receive some items that will be useful for the training fight. First, equip the wooden sword, helmet protection, and the helmet itself. You can do this from the inventory menu.
First, attack the opponent three times. It's important that the opponent does not block them, otherwise you'll have to try again. Use the stick or mouse cursor to choose which part of the body you want to hit (just tilt the stick or point the mouse in the desired direction). Use a combo of strikes in the same manner.
Don't forget that blocking and attacks consume the main character's stamina. If you're out of energy, it's better to step back and rest a bit. Right after the duel, you can fight again, but this time for money.
Your task is to carefully listen to the characters' stories and choose responses that best match your unique play style. Here, we can't recommend specific skills or decisions, as each player goes their own way.
After the campfire conversation, the heroes decide to bathe in the pond where they hear girls singing. Crouch and follow the lord ahead until you come across several girls washing clothes by the water. At this point, a long cutscene will begin, and the quest will be completed.
After a long video, control will return to the player. The main character and his companion have gotten out of the pond and are hiding from a crowd of soldiers. Follow your companion until he starts running. Climb the hill, and when the lord stops, continue along the path. At this point, the quest will change.
After moving a bit further, you'll notice that the companion is not nearby. If you go back, you'll see two soldiers with torches — it's not advisable to go in that direction. Continue along the path until you see a small rock dividing two paths. You need to go around this rock and keep moving along the road. Your friend will be waiting in the bushes on the right.
Proceed to the fallen tree. The lord will go down, and you'll have to fight one of the bandits. Use the skills learned in the training fight. Block several strikes and attack. You can also engage in conversation with the bandit.
At some point, you will inevitably miss an attack. This will start a long video, concluding the quest.
Next Quest: Fortuna.
