Considered by many to be one of the worst games ever made, the 2005 truck simulator Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing is now available on Steam. Through April 22nd, you can grab it for a steal at a discounted price of $4.79.
Gameplay in Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing is, shall we say, minimalist. Players take control of a big rig and must beat their opponent to the finish line. The game features four vehicles and five tracks. At the time of publication, the project received 84% positive reviews.
Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing was developed by California-based Stellar Stone and published by GameMill Publishing. The game garnered a Metacritic score of 8/100, while GameSpot gave it a scathing 1/10. Big Rigs was crowned the #1 worst game of all time by GamesRadar and also earned a spot on The Guardian's list of historically bad games. It was widely panned for its abysmal gameplay, poor graphics, numerous bugs, and the complete absence of features promised by the developers.
