The plan to infiltrate the royal fortress of Kuttenberg is about to become a reality, albeit not flawlessly. In this mission, you will have to control two characters, distracting the guards and paving the way for your comrades into the castle. In this guide, we will tell you how to successfully complete the quest The Italian Job, obtain a rare achievement, and peacefully resolve conflicts with some characters in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
As you progress towards the castle, you can see street vendors on the right. Ask about the arts, and then choose one of the options (we chose The Crucifixion of Saint James). If you have enough money, buy the item without bargaining and step away from the vendors.
Reach Hieronymus and bow, then choose the option "Dodge" to save Henry from revealing his identity.
Continue following Naz and answer his questions. While Boguta is in a state of intoxication, he will do well. Before entering the council building, he will introduce you to the decurion Giuseppe. We recommend exhausting all options in the dialogue, and only then proceed to the council:
In the opening statement:
Conversation with Brotherhood Members (Father Konrad Pnevitzy and Father Antonin):
Conversation with Albicus of Unichov:
Conversation with Musa from Mali:
Conversation with Monastery Members (Father Petr Malinsky and Abbot Jan III):
Conversation with Odrej Polner:
Conversation with Hieronymus Naz (only after discussing the plan with Janos):
If you invite the cook to the council meeting, you'll have to talk to him and pass a skill check. Choose a medium learning check to ensure success. If you cannot pass the check, simply do not invite the cook to the council.
You can choose any option that does not lead to a loss of reputation. We recommend the following path:
If everything is done correctly, you will receive the achievement.
This task is optional. You can perform up to three actions to lure as many people as possible into the council hall, which will simplify the subsequent passage for Indro. If you skip these points, there will simply be more enemies in the inner courtyard, but it will not significantly affect the plot.
Ask for wine:
Invite the cook:
Call the guards to the Council:
Playing as Indrzhikh. Leave the kitchen and climb the walls using the scaffolding. There will be two guards on the balcony — eliminate them one by one. Then go down and kill the remaining ones. Depending on whether you completed additional tasks while playing as Godwin, there will be 6 to 9 of them.
After getting rid of the guards in the courtyard, you don't have to go to the Italian — he couldn't deal with the guards at the gate, so you'll have to do it yourself. Use stones to lure at least one soldier, then finish him off. The remaining enemy can be killed already at the gate, he will not pose a significant threat.
Run to the central part of the yard and meet your friends. One of them is missing — no one can find Komar. Respond with "Let's go find him".
To find your friend, listen for the women's screams coming from the kitchen. When you open the door, you'll see a scene of Komar having sex with the cook. You can kill Komar or deal with him nicely to avoid ruining your karma.
Here are the correct options:
After getting rid of Giuseppe in any way, go outside and evaluate Komar's actions. If you praise him, your reputation will increase.
Follow your friends into the basement and interact with the empty space by the wall. Barrels and provisions will be placed near other walls.
In a conversation with Zhizhka and other friends, answer "I wish to go with them" > "Understood" to increase your reputation. Go up to the wing where the pans are held. Here you will find guard Csabo Molnar waiting. You can kill him or negotiate to part peacefully.
Correct options:
After the cutscene, talk to Rosa and Boguta. Say you are happy about the family's reconciliation (Martin will apologize to his son if he saved his brother in the "Feast" quest).
As soon as you activate the dialogue, a scene of Erik and his men attacking the fortress will begin.
On the left side, you can take a voulge, which can be used to knock down ladders from the wall. Take this weapon and knock down at least three ladders. After some time, the task will change.
Descend from the walls and continue killing enemies. You can stay on the walls and use ranged weapons. At a certain point, a cutscene with Musa will start, after which you will find yourself in an underground tunnel.
Head towards the exit until another cutscene begins. In it, you will see Brabant kill Komar. It will turn out that he was the one who told Erik about the attack on the royal castle and wanted his people to deal with Zhizhka and other friends.
Use an effective tactic: sneak up on enemies from behind while your allies distract them. If enemies start focusing on you, retreat so they switch back to your comrades. After dealing with everyone in the stables, head to the courtyard and eliminate the archers.
As a result of the battle, all of Brabant's warriors should be dead, including Adder. On the way to Suchdol, you also lose a few people. In the morning, Zhizhka will tell you that after your escapade, Sigismund is retreating to Hungary with his army. The quest will then be completed.
