A brand-new third-person steampunk shooter called SKYGUARD has just launched on Steam — and it’s completely free to play. The game offers both a single-player mode and co-op gameplay.
In SKYGUARD, players take on the role of mercenaries defending a fleet of airships from waves of attacking robots. The game supports up to four players, requires Xbox controllers, and delivers fast-paced battles where you can jump between ships mid-flight.
As you play, you can upgrade your weapons, swap out barrels and ammo types, and develop your own unique combat style. SKYGUARD was created by students at the BYU Center for Animation as a graduation project, so expect the occasional bug and keep in mind that future updates may not be planned.
